Finally I planted our front garden. Hubby downsized it some this year because the other side usually is so shady that not a lot grows and it usually grows up in weeds. I am getting ready to gather sticks and make a stick fence around the garden. A storm came through last evening and blew down the birdhouse. Now I have to repair it before I put it back up.

Sweet Aroma Fills the Air
Spring has been a little later arriving this year, but the last week temps have warmed up and the nature has transformed into a flowering wonderland. I think this is my favorite time of the year. I love it also when the birds return. Our backyard has been a sanctuary of bright orange Orioles, yellow Finches, hummingbirds and cardinals. This is a picture of our lilac bush this year. It seems to have more lilacs than normal. I love to smell the sweet fragrance of the air.
We Have Mushrooms!
Yummy! I picked 70 mushrooms from our backyard this year. This is what we had for supper a few nights ago. All I do is dip them in milk and roll them in flour and fry them. Delicious!!!
