It's That Time Once Again!

I am doing everything I can think of to try to bring on springtime! It has been a long February (and it's only half over!) I planted heirloom tomatoes, cabbage and pepper plants. I can't wait to see green once again! Last year was the first year I've planted my tomatoes from seeds. Not knowing what I was doing, I planted way too many. Long story short, I gave away a ton of plants. I was very disappointed in the harvest. Our tomatoes just didn't produce like they normally have in the past. I think everyone around our area had problems with their tomato crop last year. We had an unusually cool summer. Hopefully this summer will be much better!

My Latest Project

Meet Hagith. Hagith is my Hebrew doll. She was married to King David at one time. Her name means, "to praise".
I'll post King David when I get him "fine tuned".

In Bloom

I just had to share the beautiful blooms on my Kalanchoe Obtusa plant. Just another hidden joy that gives me a touch of "springtime". Also, in the picture, my Shamrocks. My Grandma gave me a start of this plant several years ago. It seems like it is always in bloom. Very hardy.

With Love....

"Love is patient and kind, not jealous, not boastful,
not proud, rude or selfish, not easily angered,
and it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not gloat over other people's sins
but takes its delight in the truth.
Love always bears up, always trusts,
always hopes, always endures.
Love never ends; but prophecies will pass,
tongues will cease, knowledge will pass.
For our knowledge is partial, and our prophecy partial;
but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass.
When I was a child, I spoke like a child,
thought like a child, argued like a child;
now that I have become a man,
I have finished with childish ways.
For now we see obscurely in a mirror,
but then it will be face to face.
Now I know partly; then I will know fully,
just as God has fully known me.
But for now, three things last-
trust, hope, love;
and the greatest of these is LOVE.
PURSUE LOVE!!"

Winter Wonderland

What a beautiful morning! The trees are coated in lace. It seems like February drags on, but in the distance the birds are singing and it sounds like spring. So I'll just hold onto that thought to carry me the rest of the way.
